Alexa was born and raised in Shreveport, LA and is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she received a BA in Psychology. She continued her education by receiving her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Auburn University. Alexa moved to Terrell in 2016 when she married her husband, Lance Gooden. They have a one year old son, Liam.
