Sidney Vaughn - REALTOR ®

Sidney Vaughn was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama.  He played basketball at Tyler Junior College then transferred and played at the University of Central Arkansas.  After college he played professional basketball before settling back in Texas and moving to Forney, TX in 2005.  A Forney resident since 2005, he enjoys showing clients the best that Forney and its surrounding areas have to offer.  He is known for his outstanding client service, 24/7 availability, and strong community network.  He is a skilled negotiator with his clients’ best interests at heart.

Sidney is an enthusiastic member of the community and a firm believer of “giving back”.  As a former collegiate and professional athlete, he is particularly passionate about working with youth in sports.  He was a 5-year volunteer basketball coach for the Forney Lions Club Little Dribblers’ Association.  He currently coaches a team in the FHS Summer League, and provides skills training for the youth in Terrell, TX.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, which consists of his lovely wife (Veronica), two children Brendan, who is currently attending Oklahoma State University on a Football Scholarship and Bracie who is entering her first year at Forney High School and is a stand out athlete herself.  With his children being heavily involved in athletes  much of the “family time” involves attending (and sometimes coaching) their weekend sporting events and playing with his German Boxer Boss (Boss Hogg).
